An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably experienced individual as an Airports Administration Officer with a focus on rostering and payroll, based at Adelaide Airport. This is a permanent position and the working hours are negotiable to the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a strong initiative, a desire to add value and is interested in a long-term role within an expanding airport team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in the management of staff rosters and administration of the payroll/rostering system
- Managing all telephone calls in a professional and polite manner
- Provide administrative support to the Airport Manager, including oversight of Lounge operations.
- Responding to queries or requests where possible, alternatively referring stakeholders of customers to the appropriate source
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies and verifying receipt of supplies
- Establishing and maintaining systems and processes for all administrative areas of the office
- At all times, handle and store sensitive information appropriately
- General ad-hoc duties and responsibilities where applicable
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in rostering/ payroll systems with experience in HumanForce an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills and confidence to handle enquiries
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Task focused with ability to time manage, prioritise and multi-task
- Proven ability to work independently as well as be a team player
- Well presented with a professional and friendly mannerism
