An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join Rex in the full-time role of Graduate Business Analyst, Engineering located at our Sydney Head Office in Mascot.
Key Position Responsibilities:
- Data Review and Analysis: Analyse and interpret business processes, procedures and practices within Company Engineering and Accounting systems and applications
- Process Improvement: Identifies and evaluates inefficiencies of existing business practices to drive improvement.
- Make recommendations for data migration strategies
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings/trends and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Create reports from relevant systems that demonstrate the connection between them and the data transfer analysis.
- Create and update user documentation and maintain the knowledge database.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and accounting, to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
Selection Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics or Business preferable or engineering
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, visualisation tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Preferred Knowledge: Background in engineering and accounting is highly desirable.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast paced environment.
