An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to step into the leadership role as the Port Supervisor, based in Cairns
Reporting:
This position reports to the 145 â Responsible Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with Engineering Procedures and Certification requirements as identified in the CAMO Maintenance Procedures.
- Oversight at the Cairns base of the external MRO to ensure that R.P.T. timetable commitments are met.
- Deliver general support of the broader RPT network operations.
- Deliver general support to the broader REX group engineering.
- Monitoring and controlling costs associated with aircraft maintenance.
- Monitoring the serviceability of Rex GSE.
- Co-Ordination of maintenance activities with 3rd party maintenance suppliers
- Production planning of scheduled maintenance forecast for Cairns.
- Amendment of any regulatory and maintenance data held at their Base.
- Ensure the serviceability of tooling and equipment and the management of a preventative maintenance/service program for Ground Support Equipment.
- Other duties as listed in the Rex Maintenance Organisation Exposition.
Key Selection Criteria
- Proven self starter with a flexible attitude and a demonstrated willingness to accept responsibility
- Experience with management of external MRO relationships
- Experience in airline operations
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines in a high workload environment
Desirable Selection Criteria
- CASA Part 66 License with Saab 340 Type Rating
- Saab 340 Line and Base maintenance experience
- Flexible approach to work location and work hours
- Experience with aviation stores and logistics distribution
