This role suits someone with solid experience who can confidently manage social channels, create engaging content, and contribute to campaign delivery.

This role focuses on managing and growing social media for an established brand and is best suited to candidates with experience working in a business or agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media

  • Plan and manage social media content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X
  • Film, create and edit social media content, including short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
  • Write engaging captions and social copy aligned to the Rex brand
  • Manage community engagement and monitor relevant trends
  • Track performance and use insights to continuously improve content and engagement

Marketing & Campaign Support

  • Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across Rex’s marketing channels
  • Build and schedule EDM communications as required
  • Assist with paid social campaigns in Meta and TikTok Ads Manager
  • Coordinate campaign assets with internal teams and external partners
  • Contribute to campaign reporting and performance analysis
  • Provide marketing support across other campaign activity

About You

You’re a proactive marketer with experience managing social media in a professional environment and are comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day execution while contributing to broader campaigns.

You bring:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in social media and/ or digital marketing
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organisation
  • Experience filming and editing short-form social media content
  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of social media analytics and campaign performance
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

This role is best suited to candidates who already have hands-on experience managing social media for a brand and are comfortable working independently.
