Stores Manager

REX is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual in the full-time role of Stores Manager.  The position location will be open to one of our Rex bases in either Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane or Wagga Wagga and will be discussed with the suitable candidate.Reporting to:This position reports to the AMO – Accountable Manager.Position Responsibilities:Make decisions and act on behalf of the AMO Accountable Manager regarding warehouse and distribution matters.Ensure that for all matters related to Warehouse and Distribution, the AMO complies with all Part 145 regulatory requirements and the Exposition. Administration and organisation of all warehouse and distribution activities across the AMO. Provision of adequate resources to perform warehouse and distribution activities in all stores across the AMO. Reporting to the Quality Manager in relation to:o   Aeronautical Product subject to a rejection.o   Receipt Inspection authorisationsEnsure compliance with Company procedures and Regulatory requirements for warehouse and distribution matters.Encourage employees to report all safety incidents and quality deficiencies the SMS reports.Ensure that all safety and quality matters are raised, reviewed and completed with learnings shared, corrective and preventative actions implemented as appropriate.Ensure that property, plant and equipment used within the REX Stores are controlled and managed in a safe environment.All stores staff are adequately trained and kept up-to-date with all company and regulatory requirements. Perform stocktake and report stocktake outcomes.Inventory management.Travel domestically as requiredSpend the necessary time at Rex store’s locations to support stocktakes and store performance.
