An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified individual to join the Rex CAMO Technical Support Department as a full-time Technical Support Engineer - Airframe. This position can be based at Brisbane, Sydney, Wagga Wagga, Melbourne or Adelaide.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to Engineering and Flight Operations for the Aircraft Fleet.
- Assist with pro-actively managing deferred maintenance on a daily basis for the Aircraft Fleet.
- Review and monitor aircraft maintenance actions.
- Assist with control and coordination of aircraft breakdown and delays.
- Control and coordination of Technical Support projects.
- Participate as a Duty Technical Support Engineer when rostered.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Proven self-starter with a flexible attitude.
- A demonstrated willingness to accept responsibility, including understanding and putting into action the company ethos.
- Experience in Airline Operations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Turbo Prop and piston engine aircraft, and a willingness to be actively involved in the support of such aircraft. Preference will be given to applicants with experience on Rex Group aircraft.
- A good understanding of aircraft systems and troubleshooting principles.
- Understanding of the hierarchy of technical documents and approved data and the ability to analyse and assess this documentation.
- Ability to multi task and manage multiple projects.
- Basic computer skills, working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
