Administrative Officer

Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 61 Saab 340 and 7 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 58 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat. REX is seeking suitably qualified individuals to join the Corporate Service team as full-time Administrative Officer based at our head office in Mascot. This is an entry level job and graduates are welcomed to apply. Position Responsibilities:Data collection and compilation,Timely update of information in various systemsInvoice matching, reconciliation and ensure expenses are allocated to the relevant cost centers.Provide administrative support to the Management Committee and Board i.e. drafting internal/external correspondence, monthly reports, diary management, travel arrangement, co-ordination of functions & events (including catering and agendas) etc.Preparing reports to the Management Committee and BoardEffectively working on all administrative and corporate governance requirements associated with each functional areaUndertake special projects as assigned and where appropriateIntercompany expenses reconciliation, and ensure expenses are allocated to the relevant cost centresOther Duties as reasonably requested Selection Criteria:Confident and capable to use computer systems and technology applicationsExcellent Organisational skills and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work unsupervisedPositive ‘can do’ attitudeBasic accounting knowledge /analytical background is preferred but not essential.  To Apply:Please submit your resume and cover letter to jobsrexgroup@rex.com.au by Friday, 1 September 2023.  Regional Express is an equal opportunity employer AUD Mascot 2020
