Airside Services Ground Trainer – Melbourne

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to join the Rex Airport Team as an Airside Services Ground Trainer. This is a full-time role based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Manager of Airport Services Ground Training and Development - The Airside Services Ground trainer will be responsible for the training and development of Ramp and Catering Staff in Sydney.Duties and Responsibilities:Facilitation and delivery of ground operations training in all facets of Ramp duties and aircraft turnaround for Saab 340 and B737 aircraftEnsuring staff are trained to the highest level in accordance with Regional Express standard operating procedures and regulatory requirementsEnsure staff maintain currencyAccountability in the first instance, for Company procedural and regulatory complianceEnsuring operational compliance by providing appropriate training to staff and contractors at Hub and Rex out port locationsMaintain accurate and up to date Training RecordsAssist in the development of training programsComplete paperwork and administrative requirements of the Ground Training Department in a timely mannerFacilitation and delivery of ground operations training in all facets of Ramp duties and aircraft turnaround for Saab 340 and B737 aircraftOther tasks as requested by the Airport Services Ground Training & Development ManagerKey Selection Criteria:Minimum three years’ experience in Ramp operations.Minimum three years’ Narrow / Wide Body experienceEffective communication skillsPositive and professional attitudeWell-organisedUnderstand CASA and Local Airport Authorities / RegulationsHighly motivated and interested in being part of a small and talented teamAnalytical skills with proficiency using Microsoft products to include; Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet.Flexibility to travel around the Rex network for training purposes if requiredPublic relations, technical and problem solving skills required.Conditions:Salary and conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.Please note: Under the Rex Group COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy all new customer-facing frontline employees must be fully vaccinated with an Australian Government Department of Health approved COVID-19 vaccine and provide evidence of vaccination and all other employees must follow the requirements as outlined in the Policy. To Apply:Please submit your application with CV and Cover Letter via our careers page: https://careers.rex.com.au/job-details/query/8465317 by 14 February 2022.You must submit your application via the link above to be considered.  AUD Sydney
