Airside Trainer (NSW/ACT)

An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to join the Rex Airport Team as the Airside Trainer (Ground Services/Ramp) for NSW and the ACT.  This is a full-time role based in Sydney at the Domestic Terminal 2.Reporting to the Airside Training Manager, Airport Services - The Airside Service Ground Trainer will be responsible for the training, development and assessment of Ramp and Catering Staff across the NSW hub ports, regional ports and the ACT. This role leads and establishes priorities for the team to ensure ground employees meet or exceed Rex’s objectives for training, safety and compliance, on-time performance and customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities:Facilitation and delivery of ground operations training in all facets of Ramp duties and aircraft turnaround for Saab 340 and B737 aircraftEnsuring staff are trained to the highest level in accordance with Regional Express standard operating procedures and regulatory requirementsEnsure staff maintain currency under CASA regulations and company learning and development requirementsEnsuring operational compliance by providing appropriate training to staff and contractors at Hub and Rex Regional locationsMaintain accurate and up to date Training RecordsAssist in the development of training programsComplete paperwork and administrative requirements of the Ground Training Department in a timely mannerAssist in the development of training programsOther tasks as requested by the Ground Training and Development Manager.Key Selection Criteria:Experienced in Ramp operations including Narrow / Wide Body aircraftEffective communication skills (both written and verbal) to competently facilitate Classroom and on the job Training & Assessment activitiesPositive and professional attitude, well organisedProven ability to manage a high workload under pressure with changing prioritiesSelf-starter with the ability to operate remotely unsupervisedSafety and customer focused and drivenKnowledge of CASA and Local Airport Authorities / RegulationsHighly motivated and interested in being part of a small and talented teamAnalytical skills with proficiency using Microsoft products to include; Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and InternetWilling and able to travel around the Rex network for training purposes if requiredFlexibility with start and finish times (0400 – 2359) when conducting training and assessmentAttend internal training when requiredConditions:Salary and conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.To Apply:Please apply via the 'Apply Now' button below.   AUD Sydney 2000
