An excellent opportunity exists for suitably qualified individuals to join the REX Group as a full-time B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME).Positions are available at our base in Tullamarine, Melbourne.Reporting:This position reports to the Line Maintenance Supervisor.Position Responsibilities:Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components within a maintenance team.Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements?Service and clean hangar, tools and ground equipmentParticipate in aircraft recovery when necessaryObserve all standards and procedures contained within Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems maintenance.Essential Selection Criteria:A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements, under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.A valid driver’s licenceWell-developed verbal and written communication skillsA high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethicFlexibility with working hoursMeet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.Preferred Selection Criteria:B1 Type rated licenceSAAB 340 endorsedExperience on transport category aircraftExperience in Airline operationsLower Group aircraft ratingCertificate 4 in training and assessment would be an added advantage.Saab 340 Course will be available for suitably qualified applicantsConditions:Terms and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers Agreement.To apply:Please submit your application with CV and cover letter addressing the above criteria via the ‘Apply’ button.
