Base Coordinator

Pel-Air is recruiting a suitably experienced person to fulfil the full-time role of Base Coordinator, located at Mascot, NSW. This position forms part of the Pel-Air team which provides the fixed-wing air ambulance service to NSW Ambulance.Reporting:This position reports to the Pel-Air Chief Operating Officer.Position Responsibilities:Client liaison with NSW AmbulanceOperations support, including management of the flight crew rosterDaily administrative duties including payroll related mattersResponsible for work, health and safety matters at the Mascot baseManagement of Pel-Air leases, Company property and maintenance of the Mascot baseManagement of KPI performanceClose coordination with the Senior Base Engineer, the Senior Base Pilot and the Contract Manager on developments at the Mascot baseEnsuring all accounts are sent in a timely manner for processingWeekly reporting on all facets of NSW Ambulance, and compilation of a monthly report for the Management Committee. Selection Criteria:Must have experience in operations and/or client account managementMust be able to demonstrate ability to promote good customer relationsMust be able to demonstrate sound administrative acumenMust be able to work independently in a high tempo, time critical operational environmentExperience in general aviation and/or ambulance work would be an advantageExperience in leading and managing people would be an advantageProven ability to manage a heavy workload under pressure with changing priorities would be an advantage.To Apply:To express your interest in this opportunity, please forward your resume and a covering letter addressing the above criteria via our careers page link: http://careers.pelair.com.au/job-details/query/8322348 You must submit your application via the link above by close of business Friday, 1 October 2021 to be considered.
