We are seeking suitably qualified and highly motivated individual's to join the Rex Melbourne Airport Team in the role of a part-time Customer Service Officer.Reporting:This position reports to the Melbourne Airport Manager.Position responsibilities:Provide domestic and regional check-in, departure and arrival services for Rex at Melbourne AirportReservation and ticket sales including collection of moniesPre and post flight dutiesEditing flightsSales reporting and recording functions as appropriateAssist with the receipt and dispatch of aircraft including operation of aerobridge if requiredRex Lounge duties, including processing of guests, restocking and cleaningAssisting special needs customers.Passenger marshallingAssist customers with damaged and lost baggage enquiriesComply with requirements set out in the company’s safety policy and standard operating proceduresOther duties as requested by the Airport ManagerSelection Criteria:Airport and Sabre system experience preferredAble to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and Aerobridge licenceAble to work shift work that includes early starts, evenings and weekend workAbility to work in a team environment and a commitment to on time performancePrevious customer service experienceWell-developed written and oral communication skillsOutstanding image and presentationComputer literacy of a high degreeAbility to work unsupervised.Please note: Under the Rex Group COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy all new customer-facing frontline employees must be fully vaccinated with an Australian Government Department of Health approved COVID-19 vaccine and provide evidence of vaccination and all other employees must follow the requirements as outlined in the Policy.
