Disruption Response Manager

Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 60 Saab 340 and 6 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 62 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to join the Rex Airport Team as a full-time Disruption Response Manager, based in Sydney.Reporting:This position reports to the National Airports Manager or assigned Delegate.Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee customer management during major disruptionsCoordinate across relevant internal departmentsAuthorise Service Recovery compensationEnsure compliance with the Rex Disruption Management PolicyActivate the Disruption Response Team as necessaryOut-of-hours disruption assistance as requiredOutside of major disruption periods:Investigate customer advocacy matters relating to passenger disruptionsAssess/analyse OTP for continuous improvementsAudit/monitor quality service standardsInvestigate opportunities for improved service standardsKey Selection Criteria:Eligibility to hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identity Card)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with computer productivity applications such as Microsoft Office (advanced IT skills would be highly regarded)Ability to work independently without supervisionPrevious experience in disruption management is desirableConditions:Salary and conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.To Apply:Please submit your application with CV and cover letter addressing the above criteria by close of business Thursday, 14 April 2022, via our careers page: https://careers.rex.com.au/job-details/query/8555657  AUD Sydney 2000
