Administration Officer

Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 61 Saab 340 and 7 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 58 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.Rex is seeking a suitably experienced and motivated individual in the full-time role of Administration Officer.  This position is based at our head office in Mascot, NSW.Reporting:This position reports to Engineering Accounts & Support Manager.Position ResponsibilitiesEngineering PurchasingAll purchases are duly approved by the Purchasing Manager (PM) with the best quotations (i.e. leverage fully on the RFQ process)All purchase orders are raised timelyAll purchases are delivered timely (i.e. minimum outstanding PO)Engineering AccountingTimely and accurate matching engineering invoices against IAS PO systemLiaison with purchasing/store officers to clarify price discrepancies or confirm goods receipts in IAS systemLiaison with suppliers to clarify price or quantity discrepancies.Analyse and collate ‘bad’ suppliersCollate consignment notes for freight invoicesReport any abnormalities in pricing for engineering purchasesMaintain pre-payment list for engineering invoicesAd-hoc tasksGeneral Admin/Support Timely distribution of Uniform/Pax Doc with receipt of orders from the various ports in REXTimely update of receipt/issue status on IAS or the equivalentTimely replenishment of Uniform/Pax DocAnalyse, design and implement cost effective workflow regularly such as to optimize and enhance the supportability of REX’s operations with maximum efficiency and minimum costs; this includes regular review of supplies and their costs respectively.Assist in the reconciliation of stock level and costAssist in stock level analysisAd-hoc tasks.Other Duties as reasonably requestedSelection Criteria:Confident and capable to use computer systems and technology applicationsExcellent organisational skills and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsHigh attention to detailTravel as requiredAbility to work unsupervisedPositive ‘can do’ attitudeSalary and Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant. To Apply:Please submit your application with CV and cover letter via the 'Apply' button.
