An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join Rex in the full-time role of Engineering Officer (Purchasing), located at our Sydney Head Office.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist REX Group engineering management in:
- the Engineering Operations Process and Product enhancement and improvement
- the design, review and improvement of KPIs including close tracking and analysis of them
- discrepancy investigations and responses undertaking engineering projects
- performing reliability assessments of aircraft and aircraft component
- Purchasing commercial and aircraft parts in support of the Company operation
- Stock distribution and reorder reports
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Ensure cost effectiveness is maintained
- Data entry and verification of information
- Other duties as assigned
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Extensive software knowledge specific to document development and management
- Experience in developing and reviewing technical documentation
- Experience working in Aviation industry an advantage
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, but also have an ability to work unsupervised
- A demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
