ER/IR Specialist

The Regional Express (Rex) Group is seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified and highly experienced individual to join the Human Resources Team in the role of ER/IR Specialist, located in Sydney.  This position is a 12-month contract (view to extend) that will assist in both Regional and Domestic operations.Reporting to:This Position reports to the Human Resources Manager.Position Responsibilities:Oversee the Enterprise Bargaining strategy for the domestic and regional operations.Lead the Enterprise Bargaining processes for all areas and undertake any associated processes up to the approval of the agreements.Advisor of all matters in relation ER and IR.Consultation with unions as requiredCarry out investigations into employment mattersLead in conciliation and arbitration proceedings associated with Agreements before FWA when requiredManagement of employment contracts across the Rex Group.Advise and incorporate any changes to legislation in contracts, policies or manualsManage ER/IR related projectsSelection Criteria:Experience in operational HR, employee relations and industrial relationsExperienced with unions, tribunal representation, EAs, interpreting awardsProven ability to manage change in a complex work environmentOrganisational and time management skillsCoaching and mentoring skillsAbility to apply confidentiality and sensitivity to issues as they arisePositive attitudeStrong work ethicHighly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people, both internal and externalWell-developed written and exceptional oral communication skillsFlexibility to travel throughout the Rex network in all states when requiredConditions:Salary and Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.To Apply:Please submit applications with CV and covering letter addressing the above criteria via our careers page Applications must be submitted via the link above to be considered. 110000 AUD Mascot 2020
