These roles would be suited to recent graduates as an entry level position.The REX group offers a unique development model for graduate engineers where you gain skills needed for a successful career in aviation.Reporting to:This position reports to the PELAIR Head of Aircraft Maintenance and ControlPosition Responsibilities:Based in Ballarat Victoria supporting the Australian Airline Pilot Academy (VIC) engineering requirements in over sight and planning of training aircraft maintenance requirements.Review operational data and programs to ensure equipment productivityEnsure quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance are in accordance with set standards and relevant safety regulations and company proceduresOrganise and oversee the maintenance programs to ensure completion within the set time frameAssist REX Group Engineering Management in: the Engineering Operations Process and Product enhancement and improvement; the design, review and improvement of KPIs including close tracking and analysis of them; discrepancy investigations and responses; undertaking engineering projects; reliability assessments of aircraft and aircraft components; Key Selection Criteria:Tertiary qualifications in Aeronautical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, entry level applicants are welcomeGood software knowledge specific to document development and managementAbility to / or Experience in developing and reviewing technical documentationExperience working in Aviation industry an advantageProven ability to work in a team environment but also have an ability to work unsupervisedAbility to develop and maintain reporting dataCapacity and ability to manage engineering projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft suiteEligible for ASICConditions:Remuneration will be depending on qualifications and experience.
