Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 60 Saab 340 and 6 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 62 destinations throughout New South Wales, South Australia, Melbourne, Queensland and Western Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic individual to join the Human Resources Department in a full-time capacity at our Head Office in Mascot, NSW.This is an entry level role which would be best suited to those in .Reporting:This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.Position Responsibilities:Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Department.Development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.Maintain all HR and employee records, files, registers and databases, as well as HR forms and templates.Development, administration and updating of HR & WHS policies and processes.Administrative support for disciplinary matters.Management of the HR mailbox.Carry out simple investigations on employee matters as required.Assist with policy interpretation and guidance to employees and managers, on EBA, Awards and other legislation.Creation of employment contracts and supplement documents.Organise EAP sessions for employees.Run HR and payroll reports for managers.Assist in the application of the performance management and provide ongoing support to line management and staff.Administration of recruitment, including the recruitment platform.Assist with interviewing staff as part of the recruitment process as requested.Provide advice and support to managers on Health and Safety matters.Assist with on boarding and exiting procedures.Conduct HR audits.Intranet maintenance.Assist with work experience arrangements.Assigning of Computer Based Training (CBT).Provide back up for workers’ compensation when required.Conduct the HR induction presentation for Ground School/s as required.Generate Employee ID cards and administer access as required.Other duties as required.Selection Criteria:Relevant qualification or experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is an advantageProactively seeks out problems and opportunities and find ways to continually improve systems and processesProcess orientatedExcellent organisation and time management skillsAbility to apply confidentiality and sensitivity to issues as they ariseWillingness to learn and possesses a can do attitudeExcellent communication skillsHigh level of interpersonal skillsProficient computer skillsAbility to travel around the Rex NetworkTo Apply:Please submit your application with CV and cover letter addressing the above criteria via our careers page: https://careers.rex.com.au/job-details/query/8666356 by close of business Friday, 19 August 2022.
