An excellent opportunity exists for suitably qualified individuals to join the REX Group Engineering team as a full-time Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME).Positions are available at our base in Adelaide.Reporting:This position reports to the Line Maintenance Supervisor.Position Responsibilities:Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components within a maintenance team.Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirementsService and clean hangar, tools and ground equipmentParticipate in aircraft recovery when necessaryObserve all standards and procedures contained within Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems maintenance.Essential Selection Criteria:A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements, under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.A valid driver’s licenceWell-developed verbal and written communication skillsA high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethicFlexibility with working hoursMeet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.Preferred Selection Criteria:Type rated licenceSAAB 340 endorsedExperience on transport category aircraftExperience in Airline operationsLower Group aircraft ratingsCertificate 4 in training and assessment would be an added advantage.Saab 340 Course will be available for suitably qualified applicantsConditions:Terms and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers Agreement with a starting range of AUD 93K â 143K.To Apply:Please submit your application with a copy of your CV, licence and cover letter addressing the criteria, by close of business 21 November 2023.
