Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 60 Saab 340 and 6 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 63 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate all-rounder to join the marketing and corporate communications team on a full-time basis, located at our head office in Mascot. The role requires a dynamic marketing professional looking to join a growing team.This is a hands-on role where you will get to work on a wide range of marketing projects and initiatives with teams right across the organisation. We work in a fast-paced team so you will need to be a self-starter who is able to thrive under pressure. Summary of Key responsibilities and tasksMaintain a deep understanding of our brand, product, market and competitionUse research, customer data and insights to inform development of marketing strategies, identify trends and opportunities to optimise marketing activity and performanceDevelop and implement digital (SEM, social & display) and print marketing campaignsDevelop and implement tourism and travel partner marketing campaignsManage delivery of EDM marketing activityWrite, edit and publish high-quality and engaging content for various platforms including our website, inflight magazine, brochures, eDMs and social mediaDeliver marketing activations to support key projects, events & initiatives (new product or route launches, corporate events and other promotional opportunities)Track, analyse and report on marketing performanceLiaise with external media agencies, suppliers and partnersProvide support to the broader marketing and corporate communications team as requiredInterstate and regional travel may be required from time to time to support activitySkills and experience3+ years’ minimum experience, preferably in airline or travel related marketing,A degree in marketing, communication or related field; or equivalent experience, Experience in digital marketing (search, social, display, EDM/CRM),Strong organisational and project management skills with an attention to detail,Excellent written communication skills, with outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills,Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, off-site marketing and public relations,Strong analytical and reporting writing skills,Proficient in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel & PowerPoint).Salary and Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.To Apply:Please submit your application with CV and cover letter via this link: https://careers.rex.com.au/job-details/query/8449819 by close of business, Monday 7 March 2022.
