Revenue and Pricing Analyst

Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 60 Saab 340 and four Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 61destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.The Rex Group is seeking expressions of interest from a highly experienced individual to join the Network Strategy Team as a Revenue and Pricing Analyst.Reporting to;This position reports and will provide support to the GM Network Strategy and the Domestic Scheduling, Pricing and Yield Manager, with a strong focus on maximizing revenue and profit.Responsibilities;Analyse and maximize network / route revenue and yield performanceMake recommendations to improve performance including Revenue Management, Pricing and Scheduling initiativesBe proactive in the functional areas of Revenue Management, Pricing and Scheduling.Produce clear and effective performance measurement reports from large volumes of dataAdd value to the decision making process by transforming large volumes of data into clear and concise management information for the GM Network Strategy, the Domestic Scheduling, Pricing and Yield Manager and Rex Management CommitteeUndertake commercial analysis for the GM Network Strategy, the Domestic Scheduling, Pricing and Yield Manager and Rex Management CommitteeFulfil contracted performance reporting obligations required by GovernmentsProduce written reports / submissions on behalf of the CompanyEssential Criteria;A minimum of 5 year experience in a Revenue Management / Pricing / Schedule / Commercial Analyst or similar roleAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyAble to adapt quickly to changes in a fast-moving business/commercial environmentDemonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation and organisation skillsHighly developed report / submission writing skillsAbility to perform under high pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesAdvanced use of Microsoft Office suite(Desirable) Previous airline experience in the fields of Revenue Management, Pricing, Flight Scheduling, Route ProfitabilityTo apply:Please submit your application with CV and covering letter addressing the selection criteria via our website https://careers.rex.com.au/job-details/query/8136320 by the closing date of 7 May 2021.You must submit your application via the above link to be considered.
