An excellent opportunity exists an enthusiastic individual to join the REX AMO Adelaide team as a full-time Stores person.This position is responsible for the effective and efficient execution of the Company’s aircraft stores’ procedures and providing general support. It is an entry-level role.Position Responsibilities:Receipt, issue, storage and dispatch of aircraft parts, tools and non-aircraft items.Work on a shift roster and on standby if and when required.Ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency is maintained.Run stores compliantly to CASA RegulationsMaintain the cleanliness and security of the StoreMonitor Shelf life items & "Services in Store".Carry out stock takes as required.Ensure that adequate protection is available for all stored items and that stores security is maintainedEnsure the expeditious movement and process of those parts & tooling that are within the control of the stores system and all parts awaiting processingEnsure most efficient use is made of available storage space.Ensure Stock Locations are accurateMonitor Aircraft bins to identify unused stock. (use first in First out principles)Identify and propose opportunities for cost effective improvements to methods and procedures relating to areas of responsibility.Ensure that all practical steps are taken to ensure the safety of those involved in the workplace by identifying all hazards and eliminating, isolating or minimising such as appropriate.
